This is a website about Canicross in the Netherlands.

In Holland we don’t have a Canicross history. At least not a big one.

We do run, as a matter of fact, we run al lot, we have big marathons and the Dam tot Dam loop. People from all over the world come to participate and of course we run in the woods etc with our dogs. Yes we do run a lot en we do have dogs and we do combine.

Canicross is perfect if you want to run and want to do something with your dog, no matter how fast or slow you go it’s just fun.

Since a couple of years we have a Canicross once a year in Bovenkarspel.

At this event we see mostly people from Belgium.

In Belgium they have a huge Canicross history and there are many very good teams.

Since 2009 we also have a Canicross once a year in Amsterdam and we have created this website about the blooming of Canicross in the Netherlands.

In Amsterdam we did have a lot of people from Holland. Yes, we are making progress.

This website is for the Dutch who want to start with Canicross and who wants to participate when there is an event.

Till this far 2 a year but hopefully next year maybe 5 or 6 and who knows we can make Canicross as big as it is in other European countries.

For all foreigners who wants to visit Amsterdam and also do a Canicross at the same time, do watch the ‘kalender’ at our website. There is a hotel and a camping nearby were dogs are allowed.
